This will go in Bear's room. I plan to have different themes in his room and at one point monsters must be a theme. Not in a scary way but in a friendly way-I never want him to fear the monster under the bed. Say Cheese!

I have the start of a vintage camera collection and I would LOVE to add to it. Right now I have a Minolta 35mm with 150mm extra lens not sure what year, a Polaroid (the ones that take instant pics) from 1992 and a pop art color camera (not vintage but cool)

I would have these on a shelf in the living room or something-good conversation started. Here are so that would make my collection look quite snazzy..

Fresh Foods

I am big on cool containers and I really like the idea of not having anything in the original box but putting cereals, baking stuff and chips in jars and tins. Ikea is awesome for that! "Tripp" storage tins at Ikea are so cute!

I also love their "Slom" jars

nothing will ever go bad ever again! I like the clear for baking stuff and the black and white tins for granola bars and things of that nature.

Nights In

My Modern Hope Chest

Traditionally a "Hope Chest" is a wooden chest that a single girl or woman fills with clothes, linens and other things she'll want in married life. This is my "modern" spin on a Hope Chest, I will post links, pictures and blogs filled with all the fun things in my Hope Chest.

Of course I am broke so I can't ACTUALLY fill a wooden chest at the moment but thats what makes this modern. It's more a Hope Chest Wishlist!
